Account Director | Brand, Public Relations and Digital Advocacy

Early in her career, Sandra was snapped up by one of the world’s top strategic communications firms. It was during her time at Hill+Knowlton Strategies that she first used social media listening to track, analyze and respond to conversations about brands, competitors and communications campaigns online.

As Marie Kondo would say — this work sparked so much joy, that Sandra went on to build her own marketing and business-development company. There she focused on Brazil and Canada – with clients in the fashion, food and beverage, communications, health technology, engineering, digital learning, clean energy, and public sector. Her work has included digital marketing audits, competitive intelligence, benchmarking, and social media strategy for organizations of various sizes, including Honda, Cemusa (now JCDecaux), and Cartola Films.

Sandra also has experience in government and the daily operations of Queen’s Park, as well as in brand-building and political campaign communications. Sandra served both the Minister of the Environment and Minister of Research and Innovation as a media contact and spokesperson. She also oversaw communications planning, traditional and digital content development, and spearheaded and executed social media influencer strategies.

What Sandra brings to LRC is a laser-focus, an ability to make the complex seem easy, social-media savvy, and data-driven insight into digital marketing and public relations challenges. Sandra translates big ideas into strategies, campaigns, goals, work-back plans, and deliverables with defined metrics.

She is a graduate of Queen’s University.
