Job Title: Digital Strategist and Content Creator

Your daily mission: To use digital tools to help us tell stories to a 21st century audience, and make sure those stories reach the right people —wherever they may be.

Who are we?

Lloyd Rang Communications (LRC) is a small group of content experts and strategists with big dreams—and even bigger hearts.

We were founded just five years ago and we’re moving fast. We have clients across Canada, the U.S., and the U.K.

Our work is crafted by and for real people, and we value integrity, empathy and respect. The diversity, personality, and humanity of the people we work with is the most important part of the relationships we build, and the outcomes we achieve.

We make each other laugh, we’re always curious about the world around us, and we have a rule about only working for great clients!

But most of all, our team supports each other like family.

From small startups to established companies, we listen well to our clients to ensure every piece of content we create is true and authentic to who they are. All of our insights are grounded in data and in experience. Once we discover the story we need to tell, our clients rely on our skills and experience to write that story so it gets people talking.

Who are you?

You’re an amazing creative digital content creator —and you’re an awesome human! You’ve got an entrepreneurial streak and want to help our company continue to evolve. And you’re okay with working remotely— but can join us for in-person meetings a couple of times a year.

P.S. Bonus points if you like sci-fi—but not a deal-breaker!

More specifically, we hope you’re:

  • A talented content creator with 1+ years of experience making websites, creating social media content, deploying digital advertising, and running email marketing campaigns.
  • A skilled digital strategist who can create communications campaigns that identify an audience, select a persuasive message, and find the best way to deliver the message to that audience.
  • A responsible project manager who will meet deadlines, keep our clients happy, and ensure everyone is on the same page.
  • A thoughtful consultant who will give our clients their best advice on how to use the content we create for them.

What will you do?

  • You’ll help us create campaigns with clear objectives, identifying the right audience, crafting a message will persuade them, and delivering that message in a way reaches them.
  • You’ll use the most common forms digital media (and some of the uncommon ones!) to tell stories to every kind of audience. This includes making websites, creating content to use on the “big four” social media platforms (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, and LinkedIn), deploying digital advertising campaigns (especially Facebook and Google Ads), and managing email marketing campaigns.
  • You’ll help us maintain brand consistency and put our best foot forward, managing our social media accounts, designing graphics and short videos, creating PowerPoint presentations and word documents that match our brand guidelines.
  • You’ll manage projects well, juggling deadlines, communicating with clients, creating work plans, and keeping everyone in the loop so that deadlines are met and that everything runs like clockwork.
  • You’ll draw on your talent and/or experience not just to create content, but to give clients your best advice on how to use it.
  • You’ll be willing to grow with us, adapting to changing circumstances, learning new skills, and helping build our little company into a force to be reckoned with.
  • You’ll work on contract with us.
  • You’ll work from home—so hopefully you’ve got a home office setup that works for you!

Compensation is negotiable based on your talent and experience.

If you’re willing to boldly go and join our amazing team of humans, here’s what to do:

  1. Send your resume to our Chief Operating Officer, Tracey Sobers at [email protected]
  2. Include a couple websites, graphic designs, or other work samples you’re proud of

This opportunity will close March 23, 2022.
